5. Tom Jenkins’ Bar-B-Q [Fort Lauderdale, FL]
Tom Jenkins’ BBQ offers a simple, classic BBQ eating experience: picnic tables, Southern-style BBQ ribs, chicken, and soul-food sides. From BBQ sauce to a trailer in 1990, then a restaurant in 1996, Tom Jenkins’ has been serving its customers for years. Jenkins' is closed Sundays ("gone to church") and Mondays ("gone fishin”).
