1. Garden of The Gods
[Colorado Springs, CO]
With towering 300 foot sandstone rock formations and snow-capped Pikes Peak in the background, it’s no wonder this is one of Colorado’s most photographed places! Garden of The Gods is only a few minutes off of I-25 in Colorado Springs. You could stop in the city for lunch and venture west for your gorgeous (may we say God-like) destination. Plus, they have a fantastic RV park. 🚐
2. Mesa Verde National Park
[Montezuma County, CO]
If you’re a lover of history and the American Southwest, Mesa Verde National Park is the place for you! The park includes over 5,000 archeological sites across 40 miles of roads. After your fun day of exploring, take a load off in the Morefield Campground (just 4 miles from Mesa Verde).
3. Pikes Peak
[Manitou Springs, CO]
Stop for a day, or stay a whole night, in a tranquil RV park in the heart of one of the most beautiful areas in Colorado - Manitou Springs. Pikes Peak is one of the most recognizable mountains in Colorado, towering 14,115ft. in elevation! Want to know the best part? You can go to the top! By road or by train (Pikes Peak Cog Railway), you can see spectacular views of Colorado Springs and beyond.
4. The Great Sand Dunes

Experience the tallest sand dunes in North America! The Great Sand Dunes are surrounded by wetlands, aspen forests, lakes, and grasslands. Take a stroll at night and see more stars than you can imagine. There are multiple surrounding campsites with RV and trailer access so you can take it easy and enjoy the Great Sand Dunes.
